Filming in Vietnam has experienced two exciting weeks of exploring many beautiful filming places throughout the country with an excellent filming team and renowned Master Chef and Master Chef Junior Michel Moran from Poland. The starting point was the unique Bac Ha market in the mountainous area of Northwest Vietnam. We came there on a foggy Sunday morning, but very soon, we felt energetic with the colourful and unique environment at the market. Many local ethnic minority people from nearby hills and mountains have come here to trade homemade products like vegetables, food, and animals like buffaloes, corks, cats, dogs, fish, and especially brocades woven by Dzao or H'Mong people. This makes the Bac Ha market the most significant, engaging, and colourful one in Northwest Vietnam.
After shooting at Bac Ha market, we traveled to Sapa, one of the attractive filming locations in Northwest Vietnam. We came there in November, when all the rice was cut and fog covered the valley and rice terraces. But we still felt the hidden beauty.
From Sapa, we flew to HCMC to explore delicious street foods in the South and discovered the Cai Rang floating market in the Mekong Delta.
The following filming destinations of the Polish production team in Vietnam are Da Lat City in Central Highlands, Da Nang City, the Imperial City of Hue, the Ancient town of Hoi An, the capital city of Hanoi, and Halong Bay.
After two weeks of filming across the country, the Polish team explored Vietnamese cuisine from the North to the South, from mountainous areas to the delta, and unique attractions. They also met friendly local people. The fixer team of Filming in Vietnam was confident that we had good cooperation, and we also believed that Michel Moral would steal the show.
